Full Sail Brewing
The Beer hunt: The picturesque town of Hood River boasts a brewery lucky enough to sit right at the water’s edge. Even though the sky was overcast and a slight breeze off the river made us zip up our jackets, we couldn’t resist drinking our beers out on the deck at Full Sail Brewing. We would’ve liked to have had more time to hang out and watch the windsurfers (and sample more of Full Sail’s ales), but we still had a long drive ahead of us. We sailed out Hood River with a pint glass.
In 2011, Phil visited Full Sail’s Portland location while on a business trip. In the decade since our last Full Sail experience, the company began brewing three varieties of Session Lager, which it sells in appealingly stumpy bottles.
